Kristen Gwen​

​Kristen Gwen may look serious and normal in her picture, but she actually thinks she’s pretty funny. This probably isn’t the case, but you’ll have to read her series, The Starcluck Adventures, to find out if she’s right or if she’s horribly, horribly wrong. When writing, she often cracks herself up. Her family then looks at her like she’s lost her mind…which is probably true.

Growing up in rainy Southwest Washington, Kristen always had her nose in a book. This led to many a bump into walls, and occasionally falling on her face. Now as a grown-up, she writes animal adventures for kids ages 8-12. Her current series features chickens in space, which, yes, she thinks is hilarious, but it’s the next best thing to fulfilling her dream of joining Star Fleet, so we’ll indulge her. When not writing, Kristen enjoys singing, acting, and hiking small mountains in search of huckleberries
